I use a Möbius cam with a printed hat mount. Works decent for self filming flights (better than the larger GoPro). Recording at 720p 60fps.  The 1080p setting has way too much of a wide angle.

Take a look at the möbius, prices are much more reasonable than GoPro.

I got the mobius wide angle lens, will have to try on 720, they are a lot cheaper then the go-pro, and smaller and lighter
