Title: Main gear backlash
Post by: Cullen Colapietro on June 05, 2017, 10:11:42 PM
Hello all, I'm the happy owner of a third hand e7se and the main gear backlash is looser than I have ever run it on any of my models.

It looks slightly worn, but in decent shape overall.

I however cannot get the motor mount any closer and cringe at the idea of enlarging the motor mount holes.

I guess my question is, is this by design?

Clean the slots out with a file. I bet the loctite is caked up and that's why it won't slide. Plenty of travel in the slots to get there if it's not stripped.

Yeah, it was gummy. I did clean it, but I'll give it another go...
