Yeah, if you want to run the 96mm tail blades you will have to upgrade your tail assembly. I dont have any immediate plans on releasing 92mm tail blades. Sorry.
However, you will be very happy with the new tail system. Much less susceptible to resonance and take a beating way better.

You are talking a little over 100$ us for that upgrade... a lot cheaper than a whole new kit... for comparison.   If you where going to upgrade a comparable machine with new KDE and the components listed, you would be way over the 100$ mark....  not including blades on either...   thats just for the tail... not sure what the totals would be if you try to re-kit for a whole new n5c...

might be better for you to purchase a new n5c kit, and have your N5 (the parts that are comparable) as a back up..

best of luck..

I just measured my rail tail blades and in a straight line from hole to tip they are 92.50 and from hole to tip diagonaly 96.00 can we use these on a N5 with out problems?  The plastic ones that came with the kit are 92.92 straight and 93.50 diagonally. Is there that much difference?

Do not use the Rail tail blades on the original tail hub. That little difference spinning 10000 rpm is a big difference.
Right now on my N5, I use the Radix 92 blades. Works very well. 8)

I will add that its not only about length. The cord width is more as well. Just a lot more area on the blade over the stock and other 95-96 blades out their.
