sk 540 and my e5

I had setup the gov.in the sk540 on version 3.15,..and it was good it gave me th three desired headspeeds that I needed,...I updated to version 3.31 and now it just goes one full speed,...no changes ,....where did I go wrong,...and how can I test if the rpm sensor is functioning.?

It's the 3.31 firmware causing it.  It got broken in 3.30 and 3.31 was supposed to fix it.  Mine still doesn't work, either.  If you send the serial number of your SK540 to Skookum support and tell them you want to go back to 3.15, they can set up their server so that the next time you check for updates, it will roll you back to 3.15.

When you plug it into your PC with the USB cable and run the Skookum Gyro setup software, the unit's serial number is displayed in the upper-right corner of the window.

I had emailed skookum on this subject and they replied that they could roll back the 3.31 to 3.15 ,,.but not without corrupting my 540,...so I oppted not to reverse the update,...they also mentioned that a newer revision should be coming ,...I'll just be patient and wait.

Yeah, I'm not going to roll mine back, either.  I'm running mine with the governor in the Scorpion Commander ESC, for now, until the next update.  I've sent them a couple log files from mine, as I'm sure have other people.  I'm sure they'll get it all worked out, soon.

No issues with my 540 gov.  Actually lovibg it so much that when I get my E5 I plan on using the sk gov on it.  You can check in the software to ensure it is engaging properly and check rom senor output under one of the view or utility options
