Wow Chris great video, thanks. I'm just starting to build my E7se and I'm going to be useing the manuals online just just wondering if there is a listing of the different options that you talked about when sitting for all the head speed and gear ratios? Also explaining when do you move trans forward or back to get different head speeds. I could the you tube again and write it down but just wanting to know if something is listed somewhere. This will be my first Synergy Heli build so want to do it right. Thanks again for the video.

This might help, here are the notes Matt and I based this video off of:

Tail gear ratio options
   - Tail Blades to use with different tail speeds (106 with 4.9:1  / 116 with 4.5:1)
   - Head speeds recommended with each ratio (4.9:1 - 2100 and lower / 4.5:1 - 2150 and higher)
   - Frames slotted .625mm at front transmission which allows for both gear ratios

Rotor Head
   - Lower for crisp cyclic and cool looks
   - Integrated swash driver arms
   - Grease ports on new E7SE Grips
   - Same head block width as original E7

Main Gear
   - New helical angle for increased efficiency
   - New tooth count for increase efficiency
   - requires use of E5 pinion

Tail Pitch Slider
   - No more plastic bearing ring
   - precision tail control
   - Ease of assembly with threaded pitch slider and pitch plate (use red or green loctite during assembly, do not over tighten)
   - secure pivot ball with red Loctite

Motor Mount Plates
   - Keep motor mount block and pinion bearing block in alignment
   - Absorbs heat from motor mount
   - Looks cool, branded with Synergy

Painted Canopy
   - Comes with High Detail Paint Scheme

Tail Push Rod Ends
   - Easy to install tail push rod ends, make certain to use JB Weld or similar

Chris,

Ref the note on "Frame slotted .625".  In the video you said forward one one gear and back for the other, which is which? And I think you said stock tail gear for E7se is 4.9:1??

Thanks for the details.

Yes the ratio of the e7se kit is 4.9:1. You will want the transmission pushed all the way forward toward the nose.

There won't be different gear ratios with this one like the E5 right?

There are two tail gear ratios available with the E7se.

It comes in the box with a 11T spur and 54T Spur which gives you a 4.9:1 tail ratio and you need to push the transmission all the way forward.

You can install the stock E7 12T spur and leave the 54T spur which will give you the 4.5:1 tail ratio and you will need to pull the transmission out to the back of the slots.

I asked this before with the E5, but any benefits in going with a different ratio?
