Auto Hub Upside Down?
« on: September 22, 2011, 06:06:48 PM »
So your auto hub seems to be upside down? No worries! Do not attempt to press the one-way bearing out of the auto hub! Simply flip the hub around and insert the steel sleeve in the other side and you are ready to go.
The auto hub was designed so that it will work right side up or upside down, the main gear will always stay centered. The manual may show the auto hub in a different orientation.

Thanks,

Matt

Yes Darrel,

It can be installed any way but you might just want to slot the main shaft in to check the direction you have.

Can the whole main gear be rotated and then reinsert the sleeve or does the main gear have to be a certain way up meaning we have to flip the hub on the main gear itself

Just flip the whole assembly. The main gear works either way too.
