Blades & 130X
« on: October 17, 2014, 09:33:56 AM »
The Blade 130X is out of production, since I like it for in door at the Gym and my small driveway I got 4 more on EBay. Researching spare parts on A-Main I found "RAIL Blades" for the 130X so I got a pair just to match my E5's. Surprise, surprise what a difference in the flight characteristics. Now I have to get a couple more sets just in case.

Yes, they make quite a difference!  Matt worked hard designing those blades and it took many prototypes to get them just right.

Looking forward to the 180 CFX now but unfortunately, it runs slightly larger blades...

Wouldn't it be awesome if there were some Rail 180 blades?! ;)

If the 180 turns out to be a hit I think the company would be remiss to not jump in on it, especially of the 130 rail sales figures were good.

Call me cautiously optimistic on the 180. Ordered one through the LHS, and sold a second while at the field this weekend.

The only drawback I've found with small rails is not that they break in a crash, but when you realize you can't just toss the heli in the car like with plastics lol.
