I did the first trial fit of the new frames today, cut from G10 for now. We only cut one side to see how everything went together. Everything fit really nice, but there are a couple small changes that we are going to make before we cut the final version.

Finally getting a little time to work on the turbine project, it has been a while since I accomplished anything.  The frames are all cut and now I am trial fitting everything to decide on the best locations.  I was held up for a while waiting for a couple parts and now I am waiting on a fuel shut off valve to finish the fuel system.  I am putting the electronics in the front. I modified the front frames to allow for a better canopy fit and then added a doubler to the front for the landing gear.  I also used a little thicker carbon fiber for the frames because of the added weight of the turbine.  We lowered the bottom of the helicopter a little over 1/2" to clear the front landing gear support and allow for the larger fuel tank. Everything seems to be going together well and the only spacers I needed were from the engine mounts to the helicopter floor plate.

Thanks for the kind words.  I wish I could take all the credit, but I got a lot of help with the frames from Michal Marcan.  I hope to test fly within the next week even it is only running the engine and hovering.

Just a quick update, I flew my turbine powered N7 today for the first time.  I flew it twice and did not get to do much other than hover due to my location and the fact that I am still checking things out.  I did have one flameout, but that was not a problem, but needs to be investigated.  The helicopter weighs in at about 12 lbs empty and 14 lbl 5 ozs with full fuel.  Just in a hover and flying with a head speed of around 1500, it flew for over 14 minutes.

I commend you as well as Dan for taking on such a project , challenging as well as expensive.  Can't wait to see these machines in person. Two different Visions in builds but yet show another tier of versatility of the Synergy line. 👏

I have been doing some easy test flights without any 3D yet.  The CG has stayed very good from a full tank to empty. Here are few test results:
Weight with fuel: 14lbs, 5oz.
Flight time:
1500 headspeed - 14 minutes
1750 headspeed - just above 10 minutes
1950 headspeed - 10 minutes
