Heli Extravaganza 2015

So Heli Extravaganza is a month out at the beautiful Triple Tree... Kinda excited! Who all shall attend? I think it would be great to finally meet some of you fellas who I chat with & that have helped me along. It'll be my 3rd fun fly... 1st "Heli" fun fly. Will the grounds be as full as Joe Nall was? How large of an event is this one.. Don't know what to expect really... Joe Nall blew me away.

Awesome Chris! Even tho I've only been Triple Tree once.. I can tell u it's gorgeous! Big'ole fields, lush green, ponds, etc... The grounds are unreal.. It was described to me as the Augusta National (The Masters golf tournament's course) of airports.. And they were right.. It is that awesome. As far as the event goes.. Everyone I know that has been says it's so lay'd back and fun.. Yeah, I can't wait either! U get the first Coors outta the cooler bruh!

Last weekend of Sept in Woodruff SC's Triple Tree Aerodrome... It's a grass airfield.. The owners are really into RC as well and host several events thruout year.. Probably most notably the "Joe Nall" event.  You can do  YouTube  search and see a good bit of it and what it's all about... Here's a link to their site.

Extravaganza has become a very popular event. It's at a great venue and is always pretty laid back. I plan on arriving Wednesday night with the camper.

Use the trailer... It's pretty flat as the south goes, shouldn't be a problem at all.. Wish I had one!

So when that say no arrivals before the 24th can you camp on the 23rd? Or do we need a hotel for Wednesday?

Well by the time I get there after working all day it will probably be 1am anyway. So technically it would be the 24th. I will check on that Barry.
