Barry Tilson:
After having 8 FBL controllers of five different types, I've decided to give Vbar its first try to keep all the helis on the same system.

Looks like a clear direction to me. Congrats on cleaning all the mess out of you life and working with just one FBL

Kevin Feil:
I remember when you Bought your first Synergy. You definitely need counseling. 😎

Barry Tilson:
The story.

I've been doing some tests on a mini VBar, so far It flys great and is a bit easier to tweak via the V-Contol. Seems easy to set up, hoping the nitro, and governor setting work as well.

Going to miss my 4-BD3sx's, 2-CGY, Spirt and Ikon. I've had fun getting to know these systems and would like to focus more flying going forward. One DX8, 8fg, 14SG.

BD has been my favorite and bail-out on the 3sx's saved me loads of cash in the beginning, however I don't use it as much now and has no nitro gov. I did try the multi gov with it and it seems to work fine. A little messy with all the wires.

The CGY works great on my N5c and with some help got the nitro gov tuned in and working great.

The Spirit is mounted in a smaller yard bird and also flys great. Not sure on the bail out and governor.

I was setting up my first IKon when I decided to switch to one system and the extra 15% sale pushed me over the cliff.

DX8 is a great radio. 14SG felt real nice, however a bit hard to move from the spectrum, very flexible settings. 8fg was a spare for budding boxing.

So all 5 Synergies the N7, E7, N5c, E5 and two yard birds will be the same controllers. One E7 airframe will be sold to make room for the 766.

Why so many helis? It would be great to have just two or three favorites! Just can't seem to pick them out. Plus I work a day job and run a business so heli repairs can take a bit to get done and there is always something to fly. 6 out of the 7 helis are airworthy and am waiting to the 766 to come out.

Thanks to everyone here who has supported my growth in the hobby! It's been about four years since I stated flying and collecting Synergies and am still enjoying the social, wrenching and flying! I've meet some great people and made new friends.

Thanks Barry
