Setting Charge Limits/Parameters
« on: June 14, 2016, 05:19:18 PM »
U know what guys... Something just popped in my head... When setting up the chargers parameters.. Let's say on a single 5000mah pack.. And u want the cap the amount it puts back in on a charge.. Say 4800mah.. If it reaches that 4800.. It will stop the charge. So.. ?.. If u are parallel charging 2 5000mah packs.. Would u double the 4800mah figure? It's not seeing 2 packs.. It is charging at a higher amperage.. So does mean it's counting the shared mah being put back in or what? Think I know the answer.. But what do u guys think?

Correct, if you are parallel charging you need to set the limit to a sum of the mah for the batteries you are charging.
For example if you are charging 6 batteries that are 6S 5000mah then set the limit around 30000mah.
