766 Receiver pack
« on: November 08, 2016, 05:23:36 AM »
Hey guys,

is anyone using a separate receiver pack on their 766?
And if you have, where did you mount it?
Do you use a power switch in the circuit or just plug in the pack?

cheers

Wolf

We rigged one up on Rob's 766s at IRCHA.  A 2200-3600mAh pack fits on TOP of the battery tray no problem. We got a 4000 in there too but was tight. I didn't take pictures but as long as the ESC wires are routed properly, you can strap the RX pack to the tray and let it help with CoG adjustment and works very well.

Thanks Chris,

On top of the battery tray is one option I hadn't thought of.
Sounds like its more obvious once the frame is assembled, mine is still in the box.

+1 for Chris. I have the receiver pack on my battery tray also. Works great!
