Motor Shaft
« on: January 29, 2017, 02:34:25 AM »
So I got a new motor for my 550 EPH.The motor shaft was too long so I cut it with my dremmel.I cut it on the short side by 1/16 of an inch.Do I have to replace the motor shaft now since it does not of the sit flush in the bottom bearing in the bottom bearing FBL Rotor's bearing block?

It should be ok as long as you've got about 75% or more engagement in the bearing. Secure the shaft to the bearing with a little loctite red or retaining compound, be careful not to get it in the bearing race.
