Auto hub sleeve
« on: May 14, 2017, 03:02:24 PM »
Hey,

I took my N7 apart to service the engine. When reassembling I noticed I have some space between the top of the auto hub sleeve and the auto hub assembly. The delrin shim is installed. A second delrin shim is too much as I cant get the bolt in. Is it possible I need a new sleeve. Should I try to shim it out or just let it be. When completely assembled I can move the main gear up and down.

Thanks.

Hi CZS550,

A small amount of float is normal and this allows the auto hub to freewheel smoothly.

Hope this helps,

This really comes down to personal choice. I choose to shim it out. Either way the heli will not have an issue.
