Rail 106 Night Blade

(1/2) > >>

Roger:
What battery is used with these blades?  How is the battery retained on the blade.

ROG

Robert "Full" Montee:
Battery is a CR-1225.
One per tail blade.
It is held in by friction.
You push the battery in at the root leading edge.
Think of it like a sandwich where the battery is sandwiched on both flat sides by the tail rotor blade.
Removal is with fishing line.
Same as the other Fun-key produced night tail blades that use a single battery per blade.

Roger:
Thanks Robert.

Roger:
How many flights per set of batteries can be expected?

ROG

Robert "Full" Montee:
Really depends on two things.
How long are your flights and when you consider them too dim for proper visibility.
I keep new batteries with me for the tail blades.
I would estimate I get two hours of flying between battery changes.
