Parts needed to complete synergy n7 build
« on: December 10, 2017, 03:28:36 PM »
I was thinking of getting a synergy n7 and I realized that all parts needed do not come in the kit. I’m new to the nitro hello world so I decided to check out this forum to see if I could get some help on what else I need to buy to get the help flying.

You will need three servos for cyclic, 1 servo for rudder, 1 servo for throttle.
You will need a FlyBarless controller of your choice.
You will need a sensor for RPM.
You will need a motor of your choice.
You will need a battery pack to power the electronics.
You will need blades, main and tail.
You will need some fuel accessories, pump,
Tubing, filter for fuel tank, filter for fuel line on the Heli,
Probably a “T” fitting for ease of fueling and a fuel line
Shut-off device. I actually run two, one on each side of the T fitting.

This is a pretty comprehensive list of extra stuff needed.
I hope I didn’t overwhelm you. I don’t think I missed anything that you will need.

More than expected but really appreciate it, do you know any sites that I can get the servos?

You can get servos at Amain, Heli Direct, Experience RC, Empire RC,  BK Designs, Heli Lids.  It just depends on what servo you want to put on your N7.

I am putting Xpert or BK on my new new builds.

You'll need a switch for power. It can be a simple switch but i recommend using a failsafe switch. I use the perfect regulators switch on my N7.  On my N5C I'm using the Brain2 HD which has built-in power leads and inputs for a failsafe switch, which also comes with the unit.

You'll need a muffler for the engine, too.  :)

If you haven't run nitro before, you'll also need a glow plug driver and a glow plug wrench.

Find other pilots that fly nitro and see what they are doing.
And the biggest thing you need of all is a "Sullivan Dynatron" to start the beast. 8)
