ikon help

took my 776 out of trailer, wanted to change bail out time on autos, been working great, no crashes, plug into computer, said update needed, clicked ok, update ran, now nothing works, no lights on ikon, only sats light up. ikon is ikon2 hd. like the ikon is dead. Cliff

Will not communicate with the computer? I’ve seen a few updates corrupt but I’ve always been able to force the reset and new firmware.

Tried the reset no lights, contacted amain, waiting on email back. bummer. Talked to a guy at MSH said if you connect the two center wires on the sys plug then plug back into the computer, will reset the ikon. My luck did not work. So in the mean time I ordered a new on from helidirect. So for the weekend I only flew the 516, e-5s, and the e7se, 4 flights on each. And 6 flights on my EF Yak 60cc., and 3 fights with my outlaw.

From some of the reading I've done in the iKon forums on HF, I've seen it lately where they say to uninstall the software, redownload it and reinstall it, and then try to update.  I think that's mainly for if you have a really old version of firmware, but something you can try while you wait to hear back.

This is a big reason why I have gone away from them, as it seems I've had more problems with updates, than what I should have.

I have 8 ikons, I normally have no problem with them, the software in computer is updated and works on my other ships. Have 3 mini one 2 gobbys and a 450 scale, with no problems. Only one has giving a problem ikon2 hd.
