Ball Links 107-099 VS 107-099A

What is the  reason for two different Ball Links Part #s 107-099 VS 107-099A? 
Per the Synergy Store  - Part #107-099A is for the 516?
What is difference between the 2 and should I upgrade to the 099A links  on my 516?
The plastic ball links that I got with the kit seem to be on the soft side???
Is this a concern??
Please advise

The 107-099A are for the swash follower arms.
