So just received an order from Amain and one of the things I ordered are battery straps. When I opened it up I was surprised to find that they have been extended and sort of melted the extension together. I thought to myself that could be a weak joint for something tying down heavy lipos, but I went ahead and used it.
First strap attempt 2 out of the three snapped off. Just wondering if the extension joint is normal?

Next time you order battery straps, consider getting the Scorpion straps. The Scorpion straps are very sturdy and have a sticky layer that prevents LiPos from shifting during flight.

I have some (might not be the right length) also have some Mikado and MSH straps. It's a Synergy and I wanted Synergy straps. Lol

Guess I'll just order some Scorpions.

I have a stack of Synergy straps and none look like they have been glued together. Not sure they are the same length but they are strong.

The ones I received weren't glued. They were bonded by melting little spots together. You can see in my picture where it separated the little spots. Other straps that I have seem to have been bonded by sewing a large segment together.
