Title: NC5 throttle servo
Post by: jayster10 on January 19, 2016, 07:57:10 AM
Can anyone advise on which throttle servo to use. I am using the 1.0 manual and it doesn't say whether it is a micro or a mini. I'm not familiar with either one. I've only used standard sized servo. I'm assuming its a mini, but would like to confirm before I order one.

I have used a JR 3717 hv servo. I know others have used Futaba 9650 servos.

I used the MKS HV9780.. It's a mini rudder servo.. I think it does well for the throttle.

It is a mini servo.  I'm using a BK Servo DS-5001HV on mine.

Another question for the group. Trying to get the tail rod control arm thru the carbon support rod. It's a really tight fit. Any suggestions on how to make it easier?

PUSH HARDER!!!! LOL JK....

chuck it up in a drill, and then act like its a long drill bit. spin it up while your pushing it though. make sense?
