Title: Fuel Tank Stopper Grommet Tips?
Post by: jclutch on August 04, 2014, 08:32:34 AM
Hi Guys,
Just installed a YS60sr in my N5c. The engine is awesome once you switch your mind over from OS to YS tuning (same principles, different methods). I changed my fuel tank stopper grommet at the same time and pressure tested the whole system. After a gallon or so the grommet will leak, was the same with my OS 55HZ-r too. Is there anything that I can apply to the grommet to get it to seal longer? I can tell that that is where the leak is because of the bubbles coming from the edge of the seal and the raw fuel puddle when I store it. And yes I de-burred the fuel tank and release the pressure after every flight.

Thanks,

Jason.
