Bought some skid clamps from randomheli.com to hang my birds up.  They work pretty sweet.

I just finished outfitting the truck with those for the trip to IRCHA.

I only used two per helicopter and they're plenty strong. I even installed all the batteries to test worst case and it's just fine.

Here they are attached to my home made bed slide. In case anyone asks they are $13 per set of two.

Well worth the expense if you ask me! Too much money in these flying contraptions to have them bouncing around in the back on a long trip!

Thanks Brandon.  I just had the Topper out on the truck a couple of weeks ago.  After that I just force my self to cough up another grand for a metal bed slide so I build my own ($80).  Added shelves also.  A regular Heli Haulin' Rig now ;D

The 8mm ones fit Synergy. They are available in 5.5-6.5mm and 9mm also. Yellow, orange and Black.
