i was just wondering will the belt driven n5c model still be in production after the tt model hits the market?

Per Matt.. Yet to be determined. He is planning on supporting the belt lovers so I would imagine there will be no problem with parts availability.
On kits my guess is that the final decision will be based on sales of both the belt version and TT versions.
I have hit the tail on my N5C many times since putting on the TT. The only time I had to replace a gear was after a full crash that bent the tail boom and other things. On the same note I have also severed a belt previously prior to the TT conversion.
The TT is pretty darn beefy!

No doubt this product line is evolving! I hope the belt still hangs around as well, I own multiples of each Model: an I am a bit sentimental towards my N5's, I have them in flybarred and FBL versions.

Thanks guys. The n5c will be my first nitro heli and my first large helicopter. I have been flying flybar 450's for a couple months and I'm ready for something bigger and more stable. I have been leaning towards the belt model because crashing still happens with me and it seems like the belt will be easier to work on and less expensive than the tt. Any thoughts?

Well with belt there's a couple more steps to remove a damaged boom versus the TT but crash damage on a belt setup is less than a TT setup. So its a small trade off. But they both fly amazing.
