106-965 sleeve

OK this Teflon sleeve how do I make this work do i put some heat to it r what ?

Yes a hair dryer or a flame held far enough away it doesn't melt. Make sure it's in the right position or you'll have a heck of a time trying to move it.

Hi Yammillion,

The best thing to do is get the pushed assembled and set to the correct length, space the rush rod guides so they are a good distance apart. What I usually do is set the pushrod to that's it's central and then mark on the pushrod when each pushrod guid goes, the remove the pushrod from the tail boom assembly and slide the sleeving over the carbon rod. Using a heat gun or something similiar slowly work from one end of the sleeve so that it shrinks and doesn't trap any air.

I found that if you start in the middle of the sleeve with the heat it's not as hard to keep the air out
