How often do you clean your blades?
« on: September 16, 2019, 09:16:14 PM »
I'm just getting back into the hobby and it still makes me laugh when I see smeared bugs on the blades. The VERY first time I saw it I remember laughing and saying, "well, that makes sense."

In my experience, all the amount of research and learning, no one ever mentioned bugs on the main blades and grass/dirt on the tail blades.

So, just for fun, how often do you guys clean your blades?

Any other unspoken anomalies that come specific to helis?

I clean my helis after every day of flight, not just the blades.

Is that with gassers or electrics or both?

I do like how easily the debris does wipe off. The bugs don't seem to stick like they do to cars... but then again, I do clean the heli's more often than my vehicles, haha
