Governor Sensor and Build
« on: December 04, 2013, 08:30:27 PM »
I was told to purchase an align governor sensor to use with the N5C TT and my V-Bar.  Can I start building the frame, or would it be best to wait until I receive the sensor?  I am asking because page 9 of the manual (11 according to adobe) says to install the governor sensor during the clutch stack installation prior to the frame halves being assembled.

Thank you!

You can add it later just need to double check motor alignment and pinion mesh as you will be loosening one side of the stack.

Thanks.  Maybe I should just take that as a clue to finish all the other parts first while I wait for my sensor.

yes... you can easily add it after airframe is already assembled... just going to take a little fingers to glue magnets on klutch..

30-minute epoxy or JB Weld.

Just be sure you get the magnets in with one positive pole up and one negative pole up.

Also, with regards to the Align sensor... Be sure to swap around two of the pins on the plug going into the vbar.
Can't remember off hand which ones need to be swapped around, but you can easily find it with a quick google search.

Thanks.  For reference, http://www.vstabi.info/en/node/791  says to switch the red & black cable of the align governor sensor for the V-Bar.
