Better words haven't been typed before Kevin. I've been in my corporation for several years now and I learned a lot about politics and being a good steward for what the company wants and what you want personally. Like you said, you are an extension of the people and the brand. Your words for sure make sense and really everyone should heed them.

Yes Kevin.  You nailed it.
I work for a large healthcare organization that continually struggles with this at the employee level.  What every employee  says and does effects how an organization is perceived regardless of their position.  The staff out in the field are first and foremost the guardians of our philosophy.  They must be willing to talk the talk and walk the walk for a philosophy to succeed.

The definition of Synergy does say it all.

Cheers,
Alan

Wow this thread has come a long way from welcoming a new Synergy owner :)

As for being a rep, I am more of the type to wear my colors with pride, fly the crap out of my Synergies and tell everyone who asks why they are my favorite heli.  I don't need the "Team Synergy" title to spread the good word. I would love to have it, don't get me wrong, but I too have a bit of a reputation on other forums. My Reputation revolves around the number of helis I buy/build/sell.

I love to build and setup helis, but more than that I need to experience things for myself. If I see something posted about a particular heli that intrigues me, I will buy one and build it just to try it myself. I have always been that way. I make no excuses for it, it's part of my hobby. Because I am not made of money, if I want to try something new, something else normally has to go, simple economics of my hobby.

Because I have experienced so many helis first hand, I get asked A LOT which one is my favorite, I get asked to compare them, I even get asked why I sold one or another. I happily answer the questions. I love being asked to help with heli setups or build questions. I have spent more time at fun flies helping with setups than flying, but again, that's part of my hobby. Some people enjoy "wrenching" some don't. I happen to LOVE it!

Because I have such a diverse heli fleet, I may never be an official Synergy Team Pilot, but I will always consider myself part of this wonderful family. You will see me wearing my Synergy Blues while speeding down the runway with my TDR, or almost losing my Goblin in a corn field, but I will always make it known I love my Synergy Helicopters.

Hats off to you Matt and Amy, you have built one hell of a heli family here!

Although, I'm a very quiet and reserved person, I'll be the one laying down smack at the field!

 ;D ;D

I'm genuinely proud to be an extension of Synergy.  It's so much more than bragging rights...like everyone has mentioned above, it's being part of a family.

This was about this time last year on my Logo...
I also have a photo somewhere of scuffing both sides of my blades without crashing. I did a blade scuff during the flight, then did a roll-out auto a little too low and it tipped the blades as I sat it on the skids. It kept upright, but it did scuff the under side of the blades. Not sure I could do that again!

Well, if we're all family, then who's up for matching Synergy tattoos? I'm going to get one on my...uh.  Well, never mind - I'll just wear a hat or a T-Shirt for now.

Don't tempt me. I was already considering getting the wing and cog wheel design as a tattoo.
