I would be very excited if Matt decided to open a manufacturing facility here in These United States.  With MA gone, it would be refreshing to see a quality rc-heli company come back to America.  I think the quality of Matt's work would be magnified if he were able to directly oversee the manufacturing process.

Yes! Me too! I for one would love to pay $2000 for a kit.

The finish of this clutch was something that I rejected from my heat treating facility. This definitely should not have made it into a kit. There is nothing physically wrong with the clutch but the appearance is not pretty. I will replace this clutch for you, not a problem. Thank you for your support! We will stand behind our products 100%!

Unlike many other RC Helicopter manufacturers today, Synergy is USA based, quality control is in the USA, and designs are 100% drawn by me in the USA. Only a small fraction of the money required to operate Synergy is sent over seas. I personally selected the my CNC shop in China because it is a family owned and run business where workers are treated very well and paid according to their skill set. I've been over to China many times to ensure standards are morally and ethically correct. Profits are put right back into the company to make new models or are spent here in the USA to stimulate the USA economy. I have researched CNC in the USA, bkervaski is right when estimating kit cost would be close to $2,000USD.

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks Matt, cant complain about the response thats why I do like the Synergy brand and aware that there will be a small percentage of problems. I could live with the cosmetic thing, you cannot see it anyway but the OWB is very suspect too, actually have one spare for my N7, but alas bigger size.

As someone who does CNC programming for a living I can honestly say you will not see this type of product produced here at a competitive price. American machine shops have a higher labor cost compared to many other countries. The parts that make up an R/C heli are just not complicated enough for american shops to consider.

"Many firearms are painstakingly hand-fitted by American craftsmen.  They are not a box of parts fresh of a CNC machine."

This statement tells me you don't understand the amount of work that goes into setting up CNC equipment for production runs. There is a lot more to it than just pushing a button and out comes a finished part. While I would love to see more products produced here the marked doesn't allow for R/C helis to be produced here.

I agree. Also if every citizen of every country bought only items made in there country for say the last 1500 years, we would all still be walking around clubing animals to death and wearing leaves to cover our..... Nothing wrong with throwing others a bone as long everyone is happy.  Besides as long as the barrel of oil is bought and paid for with dollars (our government will make sure of that see Muammar Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, etc.....) then the USA will prevail in global economics.  Every body in the world NEEDS oil and CAN'T live without it.

Why not enjoy your Synergy Model and keep in mind the boss does everything in his power to make sure he provides an honest product and stands behind it 100%.  If you think Synergy helicopters is not a real world example of a grass roots patriotic United States of an American company I would say your thinking has got to be skewed.
