E7 Spur Gear on a Streched E5

Hi Guys, i have attempted to transit from my E5 to a stretched version.
I have installed the E7 spur gear onto the hub and discovered that this is quite larger than i realised and no have huge binding due to the over sizing.
Have i missed anything.

When changing the tail drive ratio, the 54T (p/n 320-154) and matching 12T (p/n 320-112) spur gears must be used together.  Also, the transmission assembly needs to be pushed to the rear of the slotted holes in the frames.

My frames do not have any slotted hole provisions.

Looks like you need to clean the threadlock gunk out of the motor slots with an exacto.
Sorry, thought you were talking about the front tranny.

Thats a shot of the rwar transmission slots, the motor is at the front.

It's subtle. They aren't slotted like the motor holes just slightly elongated.

If you are using the e7 54t spur and the e7 12t spur then you should be good. The mesh is tighter than some. If you feel it is still too tight you can try opening up the holes some. But you have to be careful. The TT system on this heli is a no lash setup. They will seem tight for 5-10 flights.

I have test flown my E5 stretched and wow what a difference, truly love these helicopters.
