Hi Everyone,

The COG in my N7 is very nose heavy and I don’t have any room to slide my battery back any further on the front plate (see pic below).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to balance this issue out?

Thanks in advance.

You can always put the battery in the rear above the boom mount.

I am running an N7 Turbine and it is nose heavy.  Putting both packs in the rear helps.  Of course I have a bit more to deal with on a turbine. Another advantage is that you do not need to remove the canopy to charge the battery or even make the connection.

If you decide to do that be sure to use 18ga wire or two standard servo wires in parallel.  This is to be sure that the longer run can handle the load.  May be overkill but that is what I've done.

Thanks Alan, that’s a good idea to try. Will look at doing that!

Hi Alan,

I tried mounting the battery on the rear tray. Made the tail too heavy and I have nothing in the nose to move around the balance it.

Was thinking of putting a brass bolt in the vertical stab?

Should have asked.  What size pack are you using?
