Title: Build help
Post by: Manyc on February 07, 2016, 02:23:41 AM
Hello..  I have managed to score my kit already and have started the build..  However the shim that is meant to go between the auto hub and the bottom bearing block will not fit...

Any ideas?

Thanks

It is tight on purpose. The bearings need a little preload. The easiest way is to loosen the lower bearing block, insert the shim and tighten it all up. Once the blocks are snug down it will spin free and you're thrust bearings will be happy.
