Title: Low Headspeed N7 Engine Inuiry
Post by: sawacs on September 26, 2016, 11:45:11 PM
I am about to purchase the N7 which will be my first nitro heli since my old Xcell 60 days in the early 90's.  I cannot stand 3d stick banging and prefer a more relaxed type of flight.  I would love to run a lower head speed than normal which is exactly what I tend to do with my electrics.

What motor would you recommend with lower head speed in mind?  I am looking at the OS 105 along with the YS 91 and 96.

Thanks,

Sawacs

Here's a vid of my N7, YS91sr, 16 degrees pitch.

1500 and 1850 head speed.  I've been flying this head speed for a year now with no problems.
