Since my next heli will be a Synergy, I figured I should register for he forums here.  For awhile I was set on getting the E5 when it is released, but after attending the GA Heli Swarm I've decided I would rather have a nitro bird.  The smoke and noise is awesome!!  And I love how big the NC5 looks in the sky compared to my 6HV.  BTW. I know absolutely nothing about nitro. Hopefully ya'll won't be annoyed by all the dumb questions I may have. :)

Anyways, Hello All!

Fantastic Ya'll.  Thank you.

Question number one :)
Do I have to have the motor and servos to put the NC5 together?  This is gonna be my winter build and since I'm learning nitro, I'd like to take my time and spread out the expense of a new heli build.  I would like to put the airframe together and come back as I get my components and install them.  BTW. I've said this before, and ended up not being able to wait and got done with the build way earlier than planned.

You can put it together or at least the majority of it together without the motor and servos. There are some pieces such as the receiver/battery tray, fan shroud, and motor mounts that you wouldn't want to put on until you have the motor installed and wires from the servos and receiver in place. Other wise build away!

@cdsexton

Saw in your signature that you have a MSH Brain on you N5C.  How is that going?  Are you using the Brain governer?

I've got two so far, one on my 6hv and another on my Protos 500.  They fly great. I will def have one on my N5C.
