Hi all,

I have now flown my new n5C and so far had 8 flights with it. I have a couple of little niggles though...After flight 8 I noticed the belt tension idler at the back having a lot of play, one of the radial bearings had collapsed. Is this a problem or do they not last very long? After all as its only had 8 flights i'm wondering if its something I have done wrong?
My biggest problem is the CGY750 though. I just can't get it setup  well. I'm struggling with an elv bounce and wobble in the elv when it  stops. It even has a bit of wobble in the elv just in the hover, can anyone give me any tips here. I watch videos of others using the CGY 750 and the look just stunning in performance. So I think there must be some magic setting to get it working well other than just replacing it.... :-(

have never seen one fail Since the Birth of the N5 and N5c. The one thing I have seen alot of however is, overtightning the through bolt. If this happens and it distorts the bearing slightly it will cause premature failing. But never seen one nor heard of one with out of the box issues.   Where are you located and I would be glad to send you one... ;)

Also there are plenty of guys here that can offer you assistance on the CGY750. I currently run a different brand and have no helpful input at all unfortunately. But as mentioned before, We have alot of support on here so I encourage you to create a post in the (SET UP) section in regards to your programming questions.

Thanks Kevin,

Having it too tight was noted and I made sure this was not the case. I'm in the uk and have already ordered one from my local shop, Sadly though the CGY is not in wide use over here, so not many people are using them hence no help or advise... :-(. After buying two of them I would like to try and get it sorted rather than unloading them for another type

Hi Dave,

+1 for Kevin's comments on the Idler Bearing Assembly.

What software version are you running on the CGY750, i am running one on my E6 and when i upgraded to the 1.2 software i had to adjust the D and I Gains to reduce cyclic wobble. (D Gain to 40% and I Gain to 60%)

The CGY750 does fly extremely well and is very easy to setup for those initial flights but does require some fine tuning to extract the best from it.

Hope this helps and if i can help any further just give me a shout.
Cheers
