4.5:1(optional)Slide Transmission all the way AFT??
« on: November 27, 2014, 01:37:58 PM »
Hi

How/where can I slide the transmission? I'm trying to fitt the 4.5:1 transmission, but have no problems to move the rotor head. Goes very strong. I guess the spur gears have no gap at all.

Thx
Thomas

The 8 holes in the frame holding the tail transmission are elongated .657 mm. It's not much. Doesn't take much. As long as the gears are not  tight and mashing into each other your probably good.

Thx Chris for your help. Works better now. Hope it turns easier after a flew flights. Very curious how it is to fly with 600mm blades.
