Title: Tail not stopping hard and not holding
Post by: mattclark on August 27, 2012, 08:59:57 AM
I was having and issue with the tail not holding right and not really stopping hard. i have found that bearing's inside the Tail Offset Bell Crank were slipping on the outer race and not allowing the tail to stop hard or keep up with big pitch changes. I just used a little bearing retaining compound and it works great. I searched the forums and never really found similar issue or fix so I thought I would share my experience. i have attached a picture of the part i'm talking about.

Thanks
Matt

Thanks for the tip Matt! I'll keep that in mind. Might not be a bad idea to merge this/sticky this in with the tips & tricks section.
