Finally Going Blue!
« on: February 13, 2013, 12:42:10 PM »
I just orderd my first Synergy - An E5  ;D and can't wait!
I just sold my newly built Trex550 to support Scorpion and the cause.

My E5 should arrive Friday and can't wait to start the build and fly this baby. I just started flying helicopters last summer.

Thanks,
Jim

Are you talking about the deal where you send Align a Scorpion motor and Align gives you a 40% discount on one of the Align motors?

The one problem with the Synergy E5 is that there is little room for upgrade.  The parts are way over-engineered and too high quality.  Unlike other rc helicopter companies where you look forward to upgrading their stock mediocre components to the KDE versions, the E5 takes the fun away from pissing away spare cash. >:(

Thank God,lol seems like this Month has spawned a lot of Drama on Run Ryder in regards to Some Manufacturers Marketing Tactics and Ethic's as a whole. Very easy to miss read things, or write one thing but is taken the wrong way.   All Good, No worries.

MINI VBar works great and is a perfect solutions for the E5.

One note, you are running HV high end cyclics and a standard voltage rudder servo. Make sure you don't set the BEC to 7.4v like the cyclics ask for or you could fry that tail quick.

The 2271s work great at 6v so no worries there.

The only thing I did not buy yet is the tail servo have a better recomendation?
So set the BEC to 7.4 for all the servos is what you are saying Chris?
