G'day from sunny Australia!!
« on: December 29, 2013, 05:17:04 AM »
G'day Synergy Forumites,

I'm waiting on my first Synergy to arrive after meeting Matt and seeing him hammer the N7 at the Positive Pitch funfly in October. I'm only new to helis, getting a Blade 450X for Christmas last year and adding a Warp 360 and TREX 600N to my stable throughout 2013. I was a mode 1 planker for a few years beforehand, but I've seen the light and jumped into helis balls n' all and switched to mode 2 just to spice things up a little.

I've been keeping an eye on the N7 threads on all of the forums since I placed my pre-order and can't wait to actually have it in my hands and start building. I haven't got a power plant yet, but I think I may go with the YS 91SRX Tareq with a Hatori pipe and control her with a Silverline VBar and possibly RJX servos.

Anyway, thanks to all of the members for providing this support forum I hope to be picking your brains when I get the N7 on the building bench.

Cheers
Matt

Matt, first welcome to Synergy family.
Let me tell you that I have flown lots of nitro helis in the past. Switch to all electric fleet because was not have much fun with nitros. Then the N7 came along and I'm having a blast with it. You picked the best nitro on the market, congrats.

Hey Matt,
Glad to see another Ozzie joining the Synergy scene. Great choice with the new N7, I bet you can't wait :)
I picked up my first Synergy machine, the E7se from ARK RC while at Positive Pitch last October. Really enjoying the new heli, so much so I am now building my second machine, the N5c TT Edition to replace my old 600N. Hope we can catch up at an Ozzie event some time soon.

Cheers.

Hey Andrew,

I thought I recognised your username, I've seen you around on arcHELI.  You're from Tassie right? You and Nate should jump on the boat and come up to the Cobram Rotor Mania 2014.

Funny that you mention the N5C I've just grabbed one myself to upgrade from the 600N. I did only get the belt driven kit though, it was the last one in stock at ARKRC for $350 and I couldn't pass it up at that price ;D. If I put it in at any stage and kill the tail then I'll do the TT upgrade, but with my skill level I don't think that I will get any benefit from the E5 head upgrade.

Like you said it's good to see a another Aussie here. Hopefully we'll both be Synergy Team Pilots (Australia) one day!

Cheers
Matt
