I really appreciate all the suggestions and offers to help guys. So glad I bought Synergy heli's now, what a great group of guys. We are going to dig into this POS at IRCHA on saturday and see if we can come up with a solution. Thanks again Kevin, see you boys at the IRCHA!

Motor went back to Hobby Services again. I sent them an email along with the video I posted. They asked for it back. No word on their plans with it right now...my N7, still sitting   >:(

Great meeting you and your better half at Ircha Aaron, the Crew and I where talking about our game plan earlier in the week and how we would get this sorted, great news when you texted me. Although a pain in the arss you have gone through this, you at least have there attention and they are willing to look at it. My advice is be positive, be patient, and if they truly take care of this issue for you the way we all hope, be supportive in spreading the (Good Feedback). You get more Bees with honey. Last but not least, be very mindful regarding breaking in the motor and needle adjustments, a heli engine, most likely won't get another offer if this one goes to crap. It is a different animal than a buggy engine, and remember also a YS is exact opposite of an OS if you ever decide to run one. Ask me how I know that 😳? Just ask Spano, he has my old YS 120. Or what's left of it. Lol

LOL, yes, I do have what is left of it on my bench!

YS motors needles are backwards. the long needle is the mid, the short needle is the high. if you get that backwards, your motor will look like Kevins :) they are also much more touchy on the needles than the OS. one click on a YS is probably equivalent to 3 clicks on an OS. Matt helped me tune mine in a little closer Saturday night. I leave mine a tad rich to be safe, but I ended up waaayyyy too rich by the end of the night.

UPDATE: Hobby service made right on this for me. Sent me a brand new motor. Bolted it in the N7 last night, fired it up when I got home from work today. SWEET AS CANDY! Took it to the field, ZERO issues. Works 100% as it should. Flew 3 easy tanks thru it, no problems at all. Not a single clue what DEMON lived inside that other motor, hopefully they send it to an exorcist  ::) . Thanks so much SYNERGY team for all the help, what a great group of guys. Good to meet a bunch of you at IRCHA. Im going to pump a gallon thru this baby in the next 2 days EASY! Got a fresh case sitting here.  Super excited to get my N7 tuned in and RIPPIN!  8)

Yeah, all I can say is be careful buying a Used YS 120. That motor was a pile of crap when I got it. I remember the guy telling me it took a bit to crank it, and after talking to Matt , he knew the heli and motor and unfortunately was doomed from the start, fortunately The heli had top of the line Electronics. All I can say is I Love my OS's .. And Spano got the Paper weight apparently 😳
