For you non-Facebook folks. My first shot at printing embossed text in a contrasting color. I printed up one for the 766 w/boom wrap for Wayne Derrick, who's idea it was. I printed another one for me that'll work with the E5, E7, N5C, and N7. I think they turned out looking pretty good. I'm still designing some parts to convert one of my printers to a two-headed monster that will allow me to print dual colors with the text embedded in any face on the part, instead of embossed like this, but for now this works fairly well.

Pretty cool

Rodney, How well are they holding up with the stretching to cover the boom?

Mine is still fine. This material is really durable. It does soften up some when it's out in high temperatures for a while, like most flexible plastics.

Hi Rodney,
Are you the one that sent me the STL on FB when you posted the blue one with the white lifted font? I haven’t printed it yet was just wondering.

Man, I must have gone plumb loco. Originally, I wasn't gone to give those to anyone but looking through my sent folder it appears I changed my mind at some point, lol.
I thought I would have more interest from people wanting them but haven't hardly sold any. I have them on all of my models, though. 😁

I haven’t been doing too much 3D printing lately but i am going to print the holders for my fleet. I do love the Neo case with the antenna holder you designed. Great idea and excellent work. ;)

Thanks! The blade holders print really nicely. I need to find some other stuff to design that uses TPU because it really is crazy how strong it is and how precisely it can be printed for how flexible it is.
