Hello from sunny SoCal
« on: August 30, 2015, 01:58:46 PM »
Hello to you all!  :)  I'm not new to heli's but I'm new to actually flying them well :o  if that makes sense. Let me explain... just out of HS (1990 in New York) I bought a Concept 60 and learned how to hover extremely well but was too intimidated to learn to actually fly the darn thing - there was nowhere to go for help at the time. Got rid of it and went head first into 1/5 scale on-road cars. Fast forward to 2011 (in Fort Lauderdale) when I got a used Sceadu and got back into learning to "Fly" but didn't commit to it. Left FL in 2013 and over the past year I been out burning fuel and ended up ordering an E7SE kit because it's easier to fly electric around here. I haven't taken livery of it yet, but am extremely excited to get it together. I'm having a bit of anxiety though - I would love some help on picking the parts - I'll start a new thread for that though!
Regards,
Dean

Dean, welcome to the Synergy family.  Your going to love your new E7.  I think you will find it much easier to fly than the machine you have been flying.  We are here to help just let us know what your questions are.

I've been flying helis for 20yrs (since concept 30 and mechanical gyros!)
E7se is hands down the nicest machine I've ever flown (e5 same quality but prefer 700).
You will love it.
And of course you have all of us to help you with any questions..

I'm near Irvine

I'm sure I will love it Dan, it seems to be an amazingly engineered machine. I'm hoping it's easier to fly than my Sceadu that's got a G500T gyro in it! Not for long though, I'm replacing the gyro!  ;)
