For economic reasons, I'm thinking Align DS610 on cyclic and DS650 on the tail.
This is probably more than enough for my flying capabilities.

BLS253 for cyclic
BLS251 for tail.

I want to make sure everything lines up well so I'm going with Futaba for now.  Thinking about the Align servos initially for budget reasons too.  Wish there was a less expensive Futaba servo that would work but still provided good action.  I will use the 251 on the tail I believe.

Align servos have the same spline as Futaba.

An alternative would be the S9452. It's not brushless but performs well.
Ran them on Logo 600SE @6V for 2 seasons and they worked well.

For the $25 difference in price I would still go BLS451 but they are definitely an option.

Thanks for the great options. Asked my hobby shop about running the align servos temporarily and he said it should be ok.  I project myself to still be a year out from hard 3D, making sure I can sprint before I run, something like that lol.  Good to know there are some other options.

Yeah the 9452 isn't that much less than the 451.  If this gig I have coming up next week pays what I think and I sell one of my 130x, then I won't worry about the servo price.

Since I already have them I'm going to run MKS DS670 on cyclic and DS760 on tail @6V.

Changed my mind on servos and ended up ordering the MKS-HBL665/669 promo set for $419.  It was a great deal I couldn't turn up.  :)

I threw together a servo comparison chart for anyone wondering if the MKS servos will work without shimming.

also, are the torq servos a standard size or not?  Guess I will check the servo database.

I wouldn't run an align servo on a paper airplane if they were free!  In the past three weeks I have seen two helicopters with seemingly unsolvable tail problems instantly resolved by removing Align tail servos and replacing them with quality servos.  I replaced one for a friend today who in trying to resolve his own issues has replaced practically everything in his tail box!  Removed the Align servo, problem solved. I saw another Align servo (6 months old, maybe 50 flights) on the collective of a helicopter of the same brand fail today as well.  Luckily it failed at the beginning of spool up and no real damage was done to the heli or the pilot. I know that some people use them successfully but, I know plenty of others that continuously have problems.  There is something to be said for quality no matter who's name is on the label.
