Like the other poster I don't have the tools for it.  Don't want to screw something up using the wrong equipment.

The only tools you need are a drill, drill bit and a square.  You can mark the boom using one of the button head bolts from the side of the frame of the heli by running it in and out of the threaded pinning holes a couple of times.  Running the bolt in and out will mark the boom nicely for drilling.  The square is to align the tail box, the other method is to look all the tail fin from behind and align it with the frame.  You will have to do this regardless with or without the pins.

What is the square that I read somewhere else and you are mentioning.  Guess I will just get a better drill and a drill but.

A square is a tool used set two surfaces at 90 degree angles and is "L" shaped.  If you place your heli on a flat surface and loosely install the tail box including the vertical fin. You can use a square to insure the vertical fin is straight up and down (perfect 90 degree angle to the surface which your heli is resting on).

What screws did you use to pin the boom? I have one extra button head screw in the bag with washers, links etc. Looks like one button head screw is longer than the other and not sure if Ill need that for later in the build.

Also would you recommend silicone spraying the inside of the boom to reduce static etc? Or is that only for belt driven systems?

I think the static thing is only for belt drive systems. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So you just use oil on the rubber washer on the torque tube to insert into the boom? Is one type of oil better or worst than the other?

I use silicone to lubricate the bearing retainers so that the boom will slide over the TT.

Anyone used Boto lube yet? I wonder if this would work. I have used oil (motor) in the past to get that in the tube easier.

What screw do you use on pinning the boom? Do I need to go to the hardware store and buy a 3mm bolt?  Not sure on thread count.

Your going to have to come up with one.  I used a button head of the same diameter and length as the one's used on the sides of the frame.
