I see you are on team synergy , I got my e5 from another team member and I am very grateful to him  , he gave me a great deal , I am trying to get the heli together on a budget and can't afford to make mistakes , so I need to make all my decisions carefully , what can you tell me about the motor? how would it compare to the scorpion , power wise , I have really only flown scorpion and while I've always found them to run warm they are reliable and give good power

checking on castles website they are selling off their motors at 50% off , they do seem like a good motor if you believe the advertising , so why are they stopping selling them?

I've been running the 1175 kv castle motor with no problems. It was actually a pretty pricey motor.

It was a pricey motor when I bought it. It makes great power and runs pretty cool because of the fan design.

I think it's pretty hard to make a dent in the market with new motors because there are a few really well established brands that people are comfortable with but that's just a guess. As Jason also mentioned, they weren't cheap, either.

i have a 530KV (12s version of that motor). I love it. very cool running, and it does make great power. they were very pricy when they were new.
