Title: Happy Independence Day Everyone!

I am working today but with the weather here in south I won't be missing much.

For those fortunate enough to be able to fly today have fun! Everyone be safe.

Well, 1 piece each... I didn't actually manage to crash them into each other so hard that I only had 1 piece to bring home. Anyway, I've had two big pork butts on the smoker since about 1am and later this afternoon I'm heading out to my folks house in the country for a big family celebration. The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite days of the year. There's just something about the feeling of community that makes it feel really special, to me.

It finally cooled down a bit here. We've been between 104-108 all week and it's only supposed to be in the low 90s today. Woot!
