New decorations in my helicopter room
« on: October 05, 2013, 07:04:29 PM »
I decided I should hang something on the wall besides just helicopters.  I made this spare room in our house my heli hangar but I hadn't really done anything in the way of decorating.  So... sticking with the nerd theme of my room, I figured these would fit right in.

Lol, not really. I can't even understand what the heck the invention is supposed to be by reading the patent once the patent attorneys write it up. :o

Once someone at work has enough patents issued, there are big plaques with a small brass plate for every patent issued. Those have twenty plates per plaque. My boss has two of the large plaques. I'm kind of a slacker. :D

Nice! That's what I like to see an entire IN HOUSE room dedicated to cool stuff and helis.

Yeah Brandon,

I'm really lucky. Our boys are both grown and on their own now. My wife and I each have our own hobby rooms that we can decorate how we want and do whatever we want with. This winter I'm hoping to upgrade my storage and get a decent work bench set up. Right now I just use a 6 foot plastic table and I would like to get a proper bench. Either way, it's great, because I have a dedicated room where I can just leave stuff out and not have to worry about cluttering up the dining room, or something.

That's awesome! My lady is really cool with my stuff. We have a dedicated hobby room upstairs for both our hobbies which is nice because we can do our own things while still spending time together but during flying season I fill our dining room with heli items around the edge of the walls because I'm too lazy to haul it all upstairs all the time. She doesn't mind, I just put it away if we have guests or something. Gotta love it!

I had a Heli room once... 2 things,
1) don't marry an Italian Women ( she loves to decorate)
2) keep the Number of Helis you own To a minimum , otherwise she will move you stuff to the garage to (decorate Shiat)....

With that being said, Buy more Helis ! Wait till she sees the Attic.
