Title: Synergy E5 - Scale Capabilities
Post by: HK500Pilot on April 17, 2013, 07:43:19 PM
Hello, could someone shed some light on the scale capabilities of the Synergy E5?  With the E5 being a 550 size helicopter will it fit right out of the box (without major modifications to either the heli or the fuselage) in .30 / 550 size fiberglass fuelages? I have seen where pilots are stretching their E5's, does the E5 come standard with a 550 length tailboom or is it the equivelent of a 600?

Thank you very much for any information that can be sent my way.

I'm in the process of mocking up a Bell 222B Airwolf , It hasn't been done to my knowledge, however I have belt scales before and I have waited 3 yrs to finish this project. The E5 in my opinion is the perfect platform. RC Aerodyne is where I recommend you go to when purchasing a Fuse. Cliff the owner has done a great job laying out the bodies to accommodate a front load style battery. I have 2 Century Fuses, One painted and one Primer. I was actually going to paint this one (Red Wolf) configuration. I will have to come up with a way to place the battery in this current configuration. Let me know, anyway I can help just ask!!

Best,

Kevin
