Synergy Nitro Helicopters > Synergy N5 / N5c

Joining the N5c family, again!

(1/1)

I just bought a new kit from a member on HF for a really great price. I had built one about two years
ago and sold it for reasons I won't go into.

Anyway, I'm concerned about the future of the N5c. I see the last post here was 2 months ago and the activity on other forums seem to be drying up, compared to 2 years ago. I don't want to sound rude, I'm just concerned about making any more investment into this heli.

It's still a great flying helicopter and you'll be able to get parts for quite a while to come.  The main reason there's not as much chatter in the N5C forums is because of the N556.  A lot of people are buying the N556 and stretching it to 606.  I still have my N5C and am flying my N556 as a 556.

jbobb1:
Thanks Rodney!
I guess it's time to start buying stuff!

Any recommendations on starters?

Congrats Jim..

The N5C is still a viable airframe.  I fly an N5 belted and still love it.

Parts support will be around for quite a while.  Many of the parts are shared amongst other Synergy models with some exceptions. I will definitely keep a supply of N5C specific parts on hand for my own use if nothing else...

Cheers
Alan
