Dean H:
Thanks, Danny! Do I need to calibrate the ATV? Mr Mel's HS calc. gves HS options with and without ATV callibrated.

P.S.my Tx is the VControl and I'm running the VBar Silverline on this build.

Danny Dugger:
You don't have to change any throttle endpoints. Just use a charged pack and set a 0-100% "normal" throttle curve in your tx to program the Jive. First set it to "mode one" (this calibrates the throttle), cycle power, and then set mode 4 and you're ready to go. No gov tuning required, just set your throttle percentages and have fun :)

Danny Dugger:
Bear in mind - my real world headspeeds always end up about 200rpm below what Mr Mel's calculator says.

Dean H:
Sounds easy and I like easy and not tuning is even better! How do you know when you have the optimum headspeed set? What do I look for in the logs?

Danny Dugger:
If you know you're looking for a certain speed you can fine tune by looking at your logs to see if it needs to go up or down. Otherwise I usually just go by what feels good on the sticks ;)
