Couldn't anyone post up their link sizes can't recall the name of them but they run from the bell crank assembly up to the swash plate. The kicker is my head is in the very top hole. The book states they should be set at 24mm but that would be way to tall. Should I just set my blades at zero degrees and then level the swash plate from there with everything at 90. Hope this makes sence. Any help would be awesome.

I would do just that. Set the collective at mid stick, level the head and or fly bar, and adjust the links until you have zero pitch.
I normally don't worry too much about being exactly what the book says, just adjust to zero at mid stick on a level swash and away I go.

Its a N5c (guess that would help if I told ya that first) and I want everything to be perfect, cause its my first FBL heli and I want to eliminate anything that could be wrong. This way if I have a problem it will be easier to narrow down.
-
24mm is correct. Mine are actually 23.5mm. That is inside the links.
Why is the head on the top hole? If you are lowering your head yes you will need to shorten them.
If all of your bellcranks are at zero and swash is level you should be good to go.

I got the heli used and this was the way it was set up. Will it be better to rase the head back up were the manuel says to put it or is there an advantage to running it lower? looks like with it lower I will lose pitch and run into binding.
-
Some folks have lowered the heads which does require the shortening of the links. In theory this changes the Center of gravity and will quicken the roll rate.
I have not done this myself so I cannot comment on the actual effects. Maybe someone else that has done this will chime in.
You should be able to get the same throws on collective and I don't believe binding will be a problem. You may want to change things back to stock for now since you are unfamiliar with the N5C. At least for the sake of simplicity.

I've noticed the links are kinda weak I'm thinking of getting the TI ones from FBL Rotors. So I'm going to take your advice and go back to a stock setup for now. Thanks for the help guys

+1.
I have FBL links on most of my Helis. Haven't done the e5 yet.

Ordered the pitch links when I got my E5 from FBL. I may end up getting them for the N5c this spring. Love the turn buckle feature. Makes it so much easier to adjust than just the round rods.

I use the same turn buckle style on my RC truggys and adustments are painless. Does anyone know if Ralph from FBLrotors has started taking orders again?
-
I just talked to him the other night and yes he is open for business thankfully! He is getting things much more where he wants them and is getting his inventory and work shop back in order.
